To achieve the vision set out, ARLPI has reformulated a mission statement that seeks:
"To promote harmonious co-existence within Acholi and beyond through use of non-violent approaches"

Achieved |
1. Achieved unity among religions to work
together for peace. 2. Advocated and contributed in development
of the Uganda Amnesty Act 3. Acted as peace observers and consultants
to Juba peace talks. 4. Changed attitudes of all actors to-wards ending the war through the use of non-violence means. 5. Received international recognition for
her credibility and labor for peace through various awards such as;- The
NIWANO Peace Award (Japan 2004), the Paul CARUS Award (Spain, 2004), and the
Peace Award of IRU African (Ethiopia, 2008). |
